So, mom told me I had another seizure today. I can't remember it though. I feel just fine. Do any of you other doggies ever have that problem? I know that Waylon does. Mom said this is the fourth one that I have had (that she knows of). She is glad that it didn't happen when Ozzie and I were at that boring place while she was gone. Anyway, if any of you other doggies have seizures, we would sure like to hear from you. I haven't been diagnosed, but Mom said she heard that it is really common in Bostons like me.

Thrawn of the Brat Pack (Five Happy Hounds) has seizures. We are sure his mom would tell you whatever she knows. A link to their blog is on our blog in the "Friends!" section.
Hey Rocky! My sister is a Boston and she was diagnosed with Epilepsy a couple months ago after her first seizure (she's 5 years old). She takes something called Phoenix Basketball (wait - my girl just said "pheonobarbital") and is doing well. My girl would be happy to talk with ya about it! :-)
By the way, I'm Tad - nice to meet you! I saw you on DWB and I had to come say hello because I LOVE Bostons (since my sister is one, I think everyone Boston is my sister or brother)!
I am so sorry you had a seizure, that must have been so scary. Maybe the vet can give you something to make them go away.

Hi guys:
We are so sorry about the seizure. Waylon had a mild one last Sunday. We have shots coming up next month and I will keep you updated on the prognosis.
Keep cool next week - it is going to be hot here...Waylon and Willie say they really think they should have doggie snow cones..
Howdy Rocky! My sister (Fig) only had one "major" seizure (grand mal?). My girl took her in the next day and they did a blood test to rule out other causes, and then diagnosed her with Epilepsy. She has little seizures fairly regularly, but she just rocks back and forth for a few seconds - nothing like her first one. She takes Phenobarbital once a day. I'm not sure how old you are, but the younger you begin taking it, the greater the health risks are. Fig was 5 when she started, so she only has to get bloodwork done once a year to make sure everything is okay. Have you seen the vet?
