Nature's Art and Stalkers

Mom wanted us to share this picture with you. She says it's natures art; we're not the artsy fartsy type, but whatever---it's a spider's web. On another note, Ozzie has been stalked the last two times he's been out by a big black dog. He comes out of nowhere and just sneaks up on Mom and Ozzie. The Oz wanted to say a thing or two to the dog about how you shouldn't creep up on a guy like that, but Mom wouldn't let him because she said she had a feeling she would be the one fighting the battle. In the meantime, I'll be showing Ozzie of few of my moves so he can take care of things if the need arise...

Bored

Of course it is still raining. We are so bored Ozzie decided to help Mom with the laundry. He's good like that. We had to take turns going down to the school at the end of our street for our walk this evening. Mom had to take an umbrella and slosh through water, but we got the job done. Hopefully it will dry up soon. Enough already.

It's raining AGAIN

This weather is totally not fair. No doggy should have to put up with this much foul rain in a month! Mosquitos everywhere. Mom sprays us with this nasty smelling citranella stuff when we go out. Yuck! Anyway, not too much going on so here are a couple of random shots.

Mom cooked for us today!!!

So we thought we would share with you what Mom cooks for us. The top picture is what the food looks like. The bottom picture shows what our bowls look like when we are finished pigging out. Mom cooks sweet potatoes, baking potatoes, yellow squash, zuchini, green beans and carrots and she mixes in either chicken or hamburger. Today we got hamburger. Yum! She fixes a big enough batch to last us three days and then she cooks again. We sure do love it.

Rib in a Blanket

Mom bought each of us a rib in a blanket today. We have really been enjoying them. But our favorite thing to do, (and this just drives Mom crazy), is to fight over each others. Even though we both have our very own, it is just a heck of a lot more fun to steal Ozzie's when he's not looking, or for him to steal mine.

Rocky had another seizure today, around 3:30 p.m. We were sleeping with Dad as we do everyday and Rocky woke us up. Dad said it seemed like the longest two minutes ever. Mom said she thought he seemed a little strange at noon. Anyway, he is better now. Hopefully he won't have another one anytime soon. Mom will probably take him to the vet Saturday.

Cabin fever

The mosquitos are still really bad, so we are stuck inside most of the time. We barely get to go out to do our business. So, we are bored tonight and enjoying a game of bitey face. This always sets Mom off, but oh, well...

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a mosquito???!!!

It has FINALLY stopped raining. Shhh, guess I shouldn't say that too loud. The grass is in bad need of mowing (our brother Dylan will get to it as soon as it's dry enough---or else!). There are MUSHROOMS growing OUT OF THE HOUSE. How disgusting is that? So far we don't have any in our yard. Mom pulls them up as soon as she sees one. Several of our neighbors have "fairy circles" in their yards though. Hope they know how dangerous they are for us doggies.

Rain, rain, go away...

I swear, it rained ALL DAY LONG on the 4th of July and we woke up to even more rain today. It let up some during the day but it's starting to rain again tonight. We are going to need life jackets just to play in the back yard. This is ridiculous.
I think we better practice our back stroke!
